the Sacred Spiral:
An 8-Week sacred Mushroom microdose Journey
What it is
The Sacred Spiral is an 8 week guided microdosing container devoted to remembrance of your inner medicine and the language of your heart.
This is not a productivity protocol nor is it biohacking. This is a ceremonial path of returning to a strengthened and more intuitive relationship with Self, Spirit, Earth, and Ancestors. In this ritual-based container, you learn to foster the communication between the Plant Teacher and yourself. It is a cornerstone of this journey and the non-extractive, intuitive energy that runs through the essence of the container.
Over eight weeks, we walk gently with the medicine of Sacred Mushrooms, Los Niños Santos, through intention, ritual, reflection, nervous system awareness, and integration. The spiral reminds us that healing is not linear. We revisit layers of who we are with more awareness, compassion, and understanding each time.
This journey is for those who feel called to work with the medicine in a reverent, supported, and spiritually grounded way.
Why it’s unique
Many microdosing spaces focus solely on performance, mood enhancement, or creativity.
In The Sacred Spiral, we hold:
• A decolonial and earth-honoring framework
• Respect for indigenous lineages and wisdom traditions
• Ceremony and ritual as container
• Nervous system regulation and safety
• Integration as the true medicine
• Intention over consumption
We remember that the medicine is not something we extract from. It is something we enter into relationship with.
The Structure
This journey starts with a modified Fadiman protocol:
1 day with medicine, 2 days off for 6 weeks
We say “starts” because as a practice of building a relationship with the medicine and your intuition, there is a moment when the container opens for you to build a protocol that works for you or that the medicine is asking of you that may not look exactly like the Fadiman protocol.
This living container includes:
• 1:1 weekly private virtual sessions
• Weekly theme & guided practices
• Journal prompts
• Nervous system tools
• Ritual guidance
• Integration support
•In-person opening and closing ceremonies (Weeks 1 & 8) if local to Belmont, CA
The final two weeks are medicine-free and focused entirely on embodiment and integration.
Week 1 — Opening Ceremony, Intention Setting & Building Relationship Reverently
Week 2 — Awareness & Witnessing Patterns
Week 3 — The Nervous System: Regulation & Building Capacity
Week 4 — The Shadow & Emotional Honesty
Week 5 — Ancestral Threads
Week 6 — Devotion & Right Relationship
Week 7 — Integration & Embodiment
Week 8 — Integration, Reflection, & Closing Ceremony
A Note on the Process
While these themes offer structure, this is a highly individualized journey.
The Sacred Spiral is not a rigid curriculum. It is a living container. Each participant moves through the spiral in their own rhythm, shaped by their history, nervous system, ancestral history, and current life circumstances.
Our weekly sessions respond to what is unfolding in real time. The medicine meets you where you are. I guide according to what is emerging, not according to a script.
The spiral is shared, but the path is uniquely yours.

Remembering joy, rest, & play as Divine Teachers
From a scientific lens, microdosing has been associated with enhanced neuroplasticity, improved mood, and increased cognitive flexibility.
From an ancestral lens, the medicine supports remembrance, humility, alchemizing pain into medicine for healing, lineage fortification, and reconnection to the web of life.
Decolonial Lens
The Sacred Spiral is held within a decolonial and relational lens.
Psilocybin-containing mushrooms have been used ceremonially for generations within indigenous cultures, particularly in Mesoamerican tradition of the Mazatec, where they are known as Los Niños Santos. In many modern spaces, this lineage is erased or commercialized.
In this container, we approach the medicine as relationship rather than extraction. To walk in a decolonial way means:
• We honor the ancestral roots of the medicine
• We acknowledge the history of suppression and colonization of plant medicines
• We avoid appropriating rituals that are not ours to claim
• We practice reciprocity and humility
• We hold ourselves accountable in how we engage altered states
This is about moving slowly and consciously, in right relationship with the medicine.
The Sacred Spiral is designed as a subtle and supported introduction to working with psilocybin-containing mushrooms.
Microdosing allows you to engage the medicine without entering a full ceremonial journey. The doses are intentionally small, creating space for awareness rather than overwhelm.
This gentle approach allows:
• Gradual nervous system acclimation
• Increased emotional awareness without destabilization
• Integration alongside daily life
• Greater personal agency and discernment
• Sustainable change over sudden intensity
Rather than seeking a peak experience, we cultivate consistency. Instead of pushing the psyche open, we listen. For many, this slower pace builds trust. A trust in the medicine, in the process, and in oneself. Experiencing the medicine this way teaches that transformation does not need to be forceful to be profound.

It was an honor to be guided by Alexis through the 8-week microdosing journey as a new student exploring plant medicine. The experience was personalized and evolved to meet my needs along the way. The in-person ceremonies were truly special -- heart-opening and beautifully held. I also appreciated her thoughtful email guidance and journal prompts, which supported my integration. Alexis has a rare gift for blending intuition, knowledge, and grounded guidance in a way that feels both empowering and deeply nurturing.

Microdosing is generally well tolerated by many people, but it is not for everyone.

• A history of psychosis
• Bipolar I disorder
• Certain unmanaged psychiatric conditions
• Active substance dependencyWe review your health history before beginning to ensure this is a responsible fit.
-
The intention of microdosing within this container is sub-perceptual support. The dose is intentionally small. You should not feel intoxicated or impaired in your daily functioning.
The medicine often works subtly, enhancing awareness, emotional sensitivity, and pattern recognition rather than dramatically altering perception.
At the same time, it is important to acknowledge that the fear of “altered states” is often rooted in a colonial worldview that separates consciousness into acceptable and unacceptable categories. Many indigenous traditions recognize altered states as sacred spaces of learning, prayer, and communication with the unseen.
In this container, we approach shifts in consciousness with reverence and responsibility. If you feel strongly altered, the dose is too high for microdosing purposes. But rather than framing altered states as inherently wrong, we learn to engage them with accountability, humility, and grounded integration.
Consciousness is not something to escape into. It is something to relate to wisely.
-
That is completely welcome.
