$22.00

Ingredients: Calendula, Oatstraw, Peppermint, Alfalfa, Nettle, Rosehips & Dandelion Leaf *100% organically sourced

2 oz | Approx 20-25 servings

To Brew: Add 1–2 tablespoons to 8–12 oz of hot water. Cover and steep for 15-20 minutes, then strain. For a deeper nutritive infusion, steep for several hours before straining. Or a long infusion overnight in a mason jar~ adding the same amount of tea or double and add room temperature water and steep for 12-24 hours in the fridge.

Especially supportive for rituals of replenishment after: fasting, physically demanding experiences, travel, periods of overexertion, or seasons when you have felt depleted. Vital Roots can also be enjoyed simply as a daily nutritive herbal infusion .

Vital Roots was birthed from my own time in ceremonial and medicine spaces~ where periods of fasting and minimal water intake left my body asking to be deeply replenished afterward. I brought forward this blend at my first retreat I cofacilitated. I wanted to create a blend that could become part of a return + grounding~ a warm, nourishing cup to help tend the body after periods of giving, exertion, and depletion.

Over time, I realized Vital Roots grew beyond its ceremonial origins. This blend is for the seasons when the body has been through a lot, whether after travel, prolonged exertion, periods of fasting, or times when you have been pouring out more than you have been taking in. Think busy seasons, not eating the best, physical + mental burnout. It can also be enjoyed as an everyday mineral-rich tea for supporting general nourishment and vitality to keep one feeling strong day to day.

Nettle, oatstraw, and alfalfa form the nutritive foundation of the blend, offering an array of naturally occurring minerals and plant constituents. Rosehips bring their naturally occurring vitamin C and antioxidants, while dandelion leaf is known as a nutritive bitter and digestive ally. Calendula brings its traditional affinity for the digestive and lymphatic systems, and peppermint adds a cooling, aromatic quality that supports digestion while brightening the blend.

Together, these plants offer a simple remind of the medicine of nourishment.

Vital Roots is not a substitute for food, water, electrolytes, or medical care. After significant dehydration, illness, surgery, or prolonged fasting, follow the guidance of your healthcare professional. Herbal products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
